Our app functions as a supportive companion on the road, giving you quick access to emergency directory info and roadside assistance. Because privacy is fundamental to trust, SarakBondhu is built from the ground up to respect and protect your personal information.

SarakBondhu operates with a "privacy-first" architecture. We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal details to use our services.
🚫 ZERO TRACKING
SarakBondhu does not track you in the background. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information or location logs with third parties.

SarakBondhu runs entirely on your device's local database. When you are traveling through remote highways or areas with poor internet connection, the app functions fully without requiring an active network connection:
- Offline GPS Directory: Calculates the distance to nearby hospitals, police stations, and fire services purely using on-device GPS coordinates.
- Roadside Assistance Directory: Accesses stored contact lists for car mechanics, towing services, and fuel stations without downloading them dynamically.
- Offline Travel Essentials: Locates restaurants, rest stops, and bus stands stored directly in the local app database.
Location Data & GPS
SarakBondhu utilizes your device’s built-in GPS to identify nearby emergency services and calculate distances.
All coordinate calculations are executed locally on your physical device. We do not transmit your location data to our servers, nor do we keep a log of the places you visit.
Optional Online Features
When an active internet connection is available, you may optionally switch to online mode to visualize routing or view interactive maps.
Additionally, the app offers a feature to share your exact location coordinates with family or trusted friends. This sharing is done directly via your device's native SMS application, and SarakBondhu has no access to the messages sent or the recipients.
Device Permissions
To deliver our core emergency services, the app may request the following permissions:
- LOCATION ACCESS: Used solely to identify nearby safety coordinates and calculate distances offline.
- CALL PHONE: Used to dial emergency numbers (like 999) or local mechanics directly from the database with a single tap.
Log Files & Cookies
Since we do not maintain a backend server for user accounts and the app operates locally, SarakBondhu does not generate server logs, track IP addresses, or use cookies.
Third-Party Services
SarakBondhu does not run third-party advertising networks, analytical trackers, or data-collection software.
Children's Privacy
Protecting children using mobile software is very important to us. SarakBondhu does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.
