Terms of Service for LandPro

Welcome to LandPro! These Terms of Service ("Terms") and End User License Agreement ("EULA") govern your access to and use of the LandPro mobile application (the "App") developed by Abdul Momin Sakib ("we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using LandPro, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you download the App via the Apple App Store, you also acknowledge that your use of the App is subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

1. Description of Service

LandPro is an offline-first mobile utility application designed to assist property owners, surveyors, legal practitioners, and families in computing land areas, executing geometric plot divisions, converting local survey units, and determining inheritance distribution shares under established legal frameworks.

Core features include:

  • Inheritance Calculations: Algorithmic distribution based on statutory and customary legal frameworks, including the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961, Hindu Dayabhaga law, Christian inheritance, and Buddhist inheritance rules.
  • Survey & Geometry Utilities: Triangle, quadrilateral, and irregular polygon plot calculations, mouza map scale conversions, and regional land units (e.g., Satak, Katha, Bigha, Acre, Hectare, Square Feet).
  • Document Draft Generation: On-device generation and export of preliminary distribution deeds (বণ্টননামা) and calculation summary reports in PDF format.

2. License Grant & Apple EULA

Subject to your adherence to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use LandPro on mobile devices running iOS or Android that you own or control.

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, this license is subject to the terms of the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the terms of the Apple EULA will govern regarding your relationship with Apple.

3. Subscriptions, Payments & Auto-Renewal

LandPro offers both free core functionality and optional paid premium features ("LandPro Pro").

Subscription Tiers & TermsLandPro Pro subscriptions may be offered on a weekly, monthly, annual, or lifetime basis as displayed in the App at the time of purchase. Pricing is clearly presented within the App prior to confirming your purchase.
Billing & Payment ProcessingPayment will be charged directly to your Apple ID Account (for iOS users) or Google Play Account (for Android users) at confirmation of purchase. All transactions are securely processed by Apple or Google. We do not store or process your credit card or financial credentials.
Automatic RenewalSubscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Managing & Canceling SubscriptionsYou can manage your subscriptions and cancel auto-renewal at any time through your device account settings:
  • iOS: Go to iPhone Settings > [Your Name / Apple ID] > Subscriptions > LandPro > Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Open Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > LandPro > Cancel Subscription.
Free TrialsIf a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited immediately upon purchasing a subscription to that tier, where applicable.
Refund PolicyAll billing, subscription cancellations, and refund requests are governed by the respective app store's policies. For iOS purchases, refunds must be requested directly through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring PurchasesIf you reinstall the App, switch devices, or perform a factory reset, you can restore previous non-consumable purchases or active subscriptions at any time via the "Restore Purchases" button in the App settings without paying again.

⚠️4. Professional Survey & Legal Advice Disclaimer

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. LANDPRO IS A COMPUTATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL AID ONLY.

  • No Legal Practice: LandPro does not provide legal representation, legal advice, or judicial determinations. Inheritance computations are based on general statutory models and interpretations; actual family shares may be subject to wills, specific debts, marriage contracts, local customs, court probate, or judicial disputes.
  • No Certified Land Survey: Calculations of plot areas, boundaries, and mouza coordinates are mathematical approximations. They do not replace field surveys conducted by licensed land surveyors (আমিন / সার্ভেয়ার) or official government land records from the Assistant Commissioner of Land (AC Land), Directorate of Land Records and Surveys (DLRS), or Sub-Registry Office.
  • Deed Drafts (বণ্টননামা): PDF summaries and deed drafts generated by the App are reference templates intended for discussion purposes only. Official deed execution requires registration under applicable local land registration laws.

5. User Data & On-Device Privacy

LandPro is engineered as a 100% offline-first application:

  • Ownership: You retain complete ownership of all calculations, heir records, plot dimensions, notes, and PDF deeds created within the App.
  • Zero Cloud Storage: We do not operate remote servers that store, read, or monetize your calculation data. All data resides exclusively in your device's local sandbox storage.
  • Your Responsibility: Because all data is stored on-device, you are solely responsible for backing up your generated PDF reports and device data. Uninstalling the App or clearing app data will permanently remove locally saved drafts.

6. Prohibited Conduct

When using LandPro, you agree not to:

  1. Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code or proprietary mathematical models of the App.
  2. Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any digital rights management, security controls, or in-app purchase verification systems.
  3. Use the App to misrepresent survey boundaries, fabricate deceptive inheritance distribution deeds, or commit land fraud.
  4. Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App or any portion thereof without our explicit written consent.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its visual design, user interfaces, branding, icons, illustrations, code, algorithmic implementations, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of Abdul Momin Sakib and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

LANDPRO IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR INTERRUPTIONS, OR THAT MATHEMATICAL OR INHERITANCE CALCULATIONS WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC LEGAL OR COMMERCIAL REQUIREMENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF LAND, PROPERTY DISPUTES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LEGAL FEES, OR DATA CORRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE LANDPRO PRO SUBSCRIPTION OR IN-APP PURCHASE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms at any time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp. Your continued use of LandPro following any updates signifies your agreement to the revised Terms.
